Firefighters from Milbank, with mutual aid from Big Stone, Revillo and Corona, extinguished a fire that consumed the contents of to conjoined buildings that housed compressors at Dakota Granite Sunday, August 4. Crews were dispatched at 4:30 p.m.
The Grant County Commission accepted a plan presented by Chad Nelson who has been contracted as the public defender since 2007, to take a leave of absence. The action happened during the regular meeting of the commission on Tuesday, August 6.
The Grant County Commission approved the provisional budget for 2020 during a regular meeting of the board Tuesday, July 16. The budget, as approved in that action, will be published in the legal section of the Grant County Review Wednesday, August 14.
The north phase of Milbank’s Main Street sidewalk and street reconstruction project has been underway for almost two weeks and many Main Street business owners have banded together to let shoppers know the businesses are open and meeting the needs of their customers.
Attorneys George B. Boos and Susan Y. Jennen announce the merger of the Boos Law Office in Milbank with the Jennen Law Firm in Clark. Effective August 1, they will be operating as the Boos Jennen Law Firm, with offices in both communities.
