AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING JANUARY 1, 2020, AND ENDING DECEMBER 31, 2020.
The Milbank City Council approved the second reading of Ordinance 827, the proposed appropriations budget for 2020 during the regular monthly meeting Monday, September 9. The budget reflects overall expenditures of $6 million with a general fund budget of $3.6 million.
Residents of Grant County, as well as travelers passing through the area, will soon be able to receive automated notification of weather alerts, public safety announcements and more. The new alert system, CodeRED, will be contracted with OnSolve, based in Florida.
