An interim committee of the South Dakota Legislature has developed a framework for a compromise which has the potential to bring long-needed improvements to electric service territory disputes. The compromise is being applauded by South Dakota’s electric cooperatives.
The Grant County Library in Milbank will participate in the Prairie Bud, Prairie Bloom and Prairie Pasque Children’s Book Awards sponsored by the South Dakota Library Association. Students read and vote on the nominated books from the book lists.
Milbank has been chosen as the site for the upcoming Special Olympics 2020 Spring Track and Field area games. The games will take place Friday, May 1, at A.B. Campbell Stadium.
Area students in grades kindergarten through 12 are invited to audition for more than 50 spots in the local Missoula Children’s Theatre production of Johnny Appleseed. The auditions will be Monday, November 18, from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at the Koch School gym.
