Corona Town Board Proceedings

The Corona Town board met Tuesday, September 8, at 7 p.m. Members Settje, Schultz, and Settje were present. Also present was Sam Elliott and Craig Lauritzen from DGR, Harris Harms, Lori Harms, Mark Schuler, and Larry Ferber.

JoAnn Settje called the meeting to order.

DGR reported on completed work. 150 tons of gravel was not used and has been delivered to be used as needed. Mud plugs have been installed on the valve boxes. A walk through was completed today and remaining items were reviewed. DGR reported that all projects are predicted to be completed under the funding that was allocated. Harris Harms remarked that the paving was not done properly and should have been overseen by the engineers. Jerry Settje and Schultz explained this was not part of the project and that the contractor was incurring the cost. Elliott will discuss the work with Bituminous. Ferber asked about gravel added along the new streets and suggested culvert staking be done. Water meter readings and low pressure were discussed. Elliott will investigate.

Insurance coverage was reviewed.

The 2027 budget was presented. JoAnn Settje moved to approve. Seconded by Schultz. All voted in favor.

The next meeting will be Tuesday, October 13, at 7 p.m.
