Ryan’s Story Provides Insight on Drug Addiction

Ryan’s Story Provides
Insight on Drug Addiction
The purpose of Ryan’s Story is to erase some of the stigma around drug addiction and help people understand it can happen to anyone. Presented by Beth Koch St. Martin of Milbank, the story is from the non-addict view and then talks about the pain of loss, how to cope with a child’s death and what she does to manage her grief.
St. Martin will present Ryan’s Story, rescheduled from February, at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 23 at First English Lutheran Church, Nine 3rd St. NW, in Ortonville, MN.
The presentation is open to the public, especially youth in seventh through 12 grade.
With the increase of drugs across the country and younger children being exposed, this presentation provides an opportunity to hear this story in the hope that it may save another family the pain and grief of losing a child through the heartache of addiction.
