Municipality of Big Stone City
The Municipalilty of Big Stone City’s will have four vacancies on the town board, plus the office of mayor as the result of the terms expiring.
Steve Brown currently serves as mayor, a two-year term. Also expiring are the two-year terms of Mike Hughes, Ward 1 alderman; Darcy Roscoe, Ward 2 alderman, and Brad Stoddard, Ward 3 alderman. Additionally, there is a vacant two-year position as Ward 1 alderman.
Those interested in the positions may circulate nominating petitions begining on Friday, January 31. Petitions may be filed at the finance office located at 400 Washington Street before Friday, February 28, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Revillo Town Board
Officials with the Town of Revillo have issued notice that there is one three-year term vacant on the town board. The term currently held by Wayne Erickson will expire.
Nominating petitions may be filed in the finance office located at the Revillo Community Center or at her home by calling 605-237-6846 Monday through Friday, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Filing may be done between Friday, January 31, and Friday, February 28.

Stockholm Board
There will be one vacancy on the governing board of the Town of Stockholm because the three-year term currently held by Lorraine Collins will expire.
Nominating petitions may be filed with the town’s finance officer, located at 202 W. Johnson Ave., Monday through Friday between the hours of 4 and 9 p.m., between Friday, January 31, and Friday, February 28.

Strandburg Board
The municipality of Strandburg will have one vacancy on the governing board as a three-year trustee term held by David Rufer expires.
Circulation of nominating petitions may begin on Saturday, March 1, and continue through March 29. Those interested in filing should contact the finance officer at 605-949-0468.
