MHS Fall Vocal Concert to Feature
Alumnus Singer
Students in the Milbank High School vocal music department will perform in concert on Monday, October 21 at 7:30 p.m. in the high school theater.
The concert choir, under the direction of Miriam Schwenn, will present the annual fall concert with a wide variety of music.
The Crawdad Song, by Greg Gilpin; Kuimba, (sing) with percussion by Victor Johnson; Let the River Run, arranged by John Higgins; Nine Hundred Miles, arranged by Philip E. Silvey, and Ad Astra (To the Stars…), by Jacob Narverud are all on the evening’s program. In addition to the large group selections, Matt Paulson, a Milbank High School alumnus, will share the stage in singing a few songs in celebration of the first concert of the season.
The event is open to the public. Tickets will be for sale at the door, beginning at 6:45 p.m.
