Police Issue Safety Reminders About
Golf Cars, ATVs
Representatives of the Milbank Police Department reported last week that officers had been hearing concerns expressed about golf car and ATV/UTV safety, regarding children not being properly secured.
In a public statement, the department, led by Corey Hooth, police chief, stated: Please remember to make sure children remain seated at all times while the vehicle is in motion. Also, please remember that children under the age of 18 must wear a seat belt if the machine is equipped with a safety belt system.
