Scheduled at Area Churches
Special church services are scheduled at local churches for Holy Week and Easter Sunday.
Maundy Thursday is March 28. Many churches will meet in the evening for services with Holy Communion. In Milbank, Emanuel Lutheran Church will conduct a 7 p.m. service, Valley Baptist church will conduct a Seder Service and Supper at 6 p.m., American Lutheran Church will have a service at 6:30 p.m, Living Word Lutheran will meet at 6:30 p.m., Central Church will have a 7 p.m. service.
In Revillo, Bethlehem Lutheran Church will host a joint service at 7 p.m. with St. John’s Lutheran Church.
In Strandburg, Tabor Lutheran Church will have a 7 p.m. service.
In Wilmot, Our Savior’s Lutheran Church will host a joint service at 7 p.m.with Trinity Lutheran Church.
Good Friday is March 29. Area services are planned in the evening. In Milbank, Living Word Lutheran will meet at 6:30 p.m. for a joint worship service with Central Church; American Lutheran will meet at 6:30 p.m., Emanuel Lutheran Church has staged a 7 p.m. service.
In Revillo, St. John’s Lutheran Church will host a 7 p.m. joint service with Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
In Strandburg, Tabor Lutheran Church will host a 7 p.m. service.
In Corona, Trinity Lutheran will host a 7 p.m. joint service with Our Savior’s Lutheran.
In Wilmot, St. Mary’s Catholic Church will gather at noon, and Our Savior’s Lutheran will host a joint service with Trinity Lutheran at 7 p.m.
Holy Saturday will be observed by Emanuel Lutheran Church at 7 p.m. with an Easter vigil in Milbank.
Easter Sunday is March 31. Information about regularly scheduled Sunday service times and locations are available elsewhere in this issue.
Many churches will have additional early morning services to celebrate the holiday. Local churches conducting additional sunrise services include St. John’s Lutheran at 7 a.m. with breakfast to follow. Emanuel Lutheran Church will conduct a 6:30 sunrise service with breakfast at 8 a.m.
Several churches will host Sunday breakfasts. They include Tabor Lutheran at 9:15 a.m. in Strandburg, Living Word Lutheran at 8:30 a.m. in Milbank and Bethlehem Lutheran Church at 8:30 a.m. Trinity Lutheran ELCA in Revillo will host a breakfast at 9:15 a.m.
