Grant County Library Hosts Blind Date with a Book
The Grant County Public Library will offer a Blind Date With a Book program in celebration of Valentine’s Day.
Tammy Wollschlager, library director, describes the program as a fun way to help readers find a love for reading and the perfect book. A special display of sure to be loved books is set up at the library. The catch is that each book is wrapped, with the titles hidden.
Upon check-out, readers may find love with an old flame they have read before, while others may find a new passion for a book that takes them outside the box.
Patrons can stop by the library in Milbank to make their selection. Each book checked out as part of the initiative comes with a registration slip for a Valentine’s Day gift. The winner will be drawn at the conclusion of the program on Saturday, February 17.
