Chili Cook-off to Feature in City Holiday Festivities
The Milbank Area Chamber of Commerce (MACC) will host a chili cook-off, a new event, as part of the Milbank Hometown Christmas celebration on Saturday, December 2.
“We wanted to add something fun to the event and expand on the already great offerings we had from last year,” said Jamie Henderson, MACC executive director.
The cook-off will begin at 5 p.m. Chili will be available to taste for a free-will donation. Donations will benefit the Hometown Christmas event.
Chili makers can sign up by contacting the MACC. Cash prizes will be awarded.
The Milbank Hometown Christmas festivities will include holiday open houses, the festival of trees, pictures with Santa, the holiday lighted parade, a tree lighting ceremony and other activities. More details are available in an ad elsewhere in this issue.
