Summit School Sets Birth to Six Preschool Screen
The Birth to Six screening for the Summit School District will be Tuesday, September 12, at Hope Lutheran Church in Summit.
The developmental screening will examine the children’s motor, speech and language skills and general knowledge. The 2023-2024 preschoolers and children four years of age not in preschool will have a scheduled screening time. Children ages birth to three will not have a scheduled screening time. However, parents who have any concerns, should contact Nancy Pearson at the Summit School, 605-398-6211, to set up an appointment. There is no need to rescreen any child up to three years who was screened last year and found to have no problems.
