Fourth of July Events Planned

The Milbank Area Chamber of Commerce has scheduled a full afternoon and evening of events at Lake Farley Park on Tuesday, July 4, for Independence Day.
Activities begin at 4 p.m. and will conclude at 10 p.m. There will be inflatables including a water slide, cornhole boards, a coin dig, the KMSD Boombox, Tommy’s Popcorn and food.
The fishing derby, hosted by Rick and Wendy Hentges and the Sons of the American Legion, will go from 4 to 6 p.m. Kids up to age 14 are invited to participate. Bait and tackle will be provided, and all participants will get a free fishing pole. Prizes will be awarded.
There will be fireworks at dusk, when the raffle drawing will be conducted. See ad inside for more raffle information.
