Milbank School Sets Kindergarten Screening Date
The Milbank School District will conduct kindergarten screening and registration Friday, January 20, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Milbank Elementary School gym. Parents are asked to schedule an appointment for the screening.
To reserve a time, call Peggy Greiner at the central office at 432-5579 ext. 1300 or Marie Ivers at the elementary school at 432-6615 ext. 1102.
Kindergarten screening is for any child who will be five years old before September 1, 2023. Children will participate in a kindergarten assessment and speech screening by the speech therapist.
Parents are asked to provide the child’s certified birth certificate and immunizations records for the school nurse to review. The screening will last one-half hour to one hour.
