Council Proceedings

 

The LaBolt Town Council met December 5, 2022 at the LaBolt Hall. Present were Jon Wold, Kenneth Wold, Larry Erp, John Wollenberg, Barb Ellingson, Danny Berglund and Jan Zuver. 

  The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m.

  The minutes from the last meeting were read and approved. Financial report was given and approved. 

  John reported that the wooden bridges at the upper pond are twisted and need to be repaired. It was decided to close that trail until the repairs could be competed. 

  The steps near the dam were discussed as they will need to be repaired. There was also discussion on how to make new steps. This will have to wait til spring.

  The following bills were approved for payment from the general fund: Kranz Well & Excavation $10,438.60; Kranz Well and Excavation $5,132.60; Kranz Well & Excavation $7,218.47; Nationwide $100.00; Northwestern Energy $10.00; Brookings Deuel Rural Water $28.00; South Dakota Municipal League dues $94.62; Grant County Review $19.98; Ottertail $64.83 (fire hall); Ottertail $222.85 (street lights); Ottertail $7.80 (sign).

  The rezoning of the lots was discussed and tabled until next month. 

Jon is waiting for a return call from Elite about blowing out the lines.

  Jon adjourned the meeting.

 Next meeting will be Monday, January 9, 2023 at 7:00 p.m.
