CITY OF MILBANK NOTICE AND CALL FOR BIDS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Milbank, Grant County, South Dakota will receive sealed competitive bids for Baseball Foul Poles. 

Bidders are required to bid all items. 

All supplies will be delivered to 512 Flynn Drive, Milbank, SD 57252 no later than September 9, 2022.

Foul Poles shall be considered permanent installations.They shall be Sch. 40 steel uprights with 18-inch expanded steel mesh visibility wings. Poles shall have a powder-coat finish over zinc undercoating. Color shall be yellow. Height shall be 30 ft. Poles shall be engineered to withstand up to 120 mph winds. Poles shall be made in the USA with a minimum of a 3-year warranty. Ground sleeves for each pole shall be bid. 

No bid or performance security is required.  

Bid forms must be submitted on bid forms supplied by the City. Bid forms are available from the Milbank City Office in either paper or electronic format (.pdf or .xlsx).

Bids will be received up to the hour of 11:00 a.m., CDT, on Friday, August 12, 2022, at the City Offices, 1001 East 4th Avenue, Suite 301, Milbank, SD 57252. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time. No bids will be received after the specified hour and date. 

Each Bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope. Each sealed envelope containing a Bid must be plainly marked on the outside as Bid for Legion Field Foul Poles. The envelope should also bear on the outside, the name and address of the Bidder. 

Bids may not be withdrawn after the time fixed for opening them. The City of Milbank reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive irregularities as deemed to be in the best interest of Milbank, South Dakota.
