Chamber Launches Campaign
to Keep the Cheer for Holidays
Laurie Folk, executive director of the Milbank Area Chamber of Commerce, announced this week that the organization is promoting shopping at local businesses this holiday season.
The Keep the Cheer Here promotion will spotlight a different chamber member business each day in November. “It’s a great way to help remind everyone just how unique a lot of the businesses are. We have so many great options for shopping local as we roll into the Christmas season – and every day,” Folk said.
Keep the Cheer Here begins on Monday, November 1, with Subway taking center stage. Other businesses that have committed to the project are Lewis Family Drug, the Bank, Whimsy on Main, Now and Then Boutique, Linda’s Fashions, Urban Threads Clothing Boutique, Street Graphex, Valley Office Products, Cocktails and Corks, Valley Queen Heritage Center, The Flower Shoppe, Taco Johns, and Guadalupe’s Mexican/American Restaurant and Food Truck.
See the calendar inside this issue showing the designated day for each. Folk reminds the public to watch the chamber’s social media for specifics on each business’ specified day.
Additionally, Holiday Bingo returns this year as it was popular in the past. Starting on Monday, November 29, the public can tune into KMSD Radio at 95.1 FM to participate in bingo. See the ad inside to learn how to get bingo cards.
