Shooting Sports Deadline Nears
Grant County 4-H members interested in participating in shooting sports must register by Monday, December 9.
The shooting sports season runs from January to April and is open to youth ages eight to 18 as of January 1, 2025. Disciplines available include air pistol, air rifle, archery and BB gun. It is $25 for one child and $40 for a family to compete.
Members also must complete a safety test for each discipline they plan to participate in before the first night of practice. Safety nights where the rules and tests will be given are Sunday, December 8, at 4 and 5:30 p.m., and Monday, December 9, at 5:30 and 7 p.m., at the Grant County 4-H complex located at 517 Flynn Drive in Milbank, youth only need to attend one night.
