Wastewater Treatment Repairs at Valley Queen May Cause Odor
Officials at Valley Queen are planning construction work to its wastewater treatment facility beginning this Friday, January 29 and extending through next week. During this period, odors from the work may be noticeable in downtown Milbank.
The work involves temporarily removing the top from the anaerobic digestor located on Railway Avenue. As a result of opening the digestor, a noticeable odor may be expected in downtown Milbank through next week. Work will be completed as quickly as possible to minimize the impact to the community.
