Board Proceedings
The Town Board of Stockholm held their regular monthly meeting on Monday, January 2, 2023 at 7 p.m. with Board members Lorraine Collins, Tim Nowick and Mark Anderson present.
The minutes from the last meeting were read with a motion by Nowick seconded by Anderson to accept the minutes as read.
Motion by Nowick seconded by Anderson to pay the following bills,
General Account: Tim Nowick, $660.00 for snow removal; Ottertail, $479.22; Whetstone Electric, $13.59; Jodi Nowick, $230.87; ITC, $39.10; post office, $60.00 for roll stamps. Sewer Account: Ottertail, $76.30.
A motion was made by Anderson seconded by Nowick to increase the hourly wage for Town work from $15.00 an hour to $20.00 an hour. Another motion by Anderson seconded by Nowick was to increase Board members wages from $60.00 a month to $75.00.
A motion by Nowick seconded by Anderson was made to increase sewer rates to $30.00 a month and vacancy rates to $10.00 a month. Another motion was made by Nowick seconded by Anderson to increase the rent at the community center from $50.00 to $75.00.
Grant County Review was again established as the paper to use for all Town notifications and First Bank and Trust for all Town business related to the Town of Stockholm.
The next meeting will be Monday February 6, 2023 at 7 p.m.; with nothing further a motion was made to adjourn by Nowick seconded by Anderson.
