November 8, 2021

Meeting called to order at 5:30 P.M.

Board Members Present: Travis, Nicole, Rodney

Others Present: Tom Wagner

Minutes of October meeting read; no corrections or additions. Motion to accept October minutes by Nicole, 2nd by Rodney.

Old Business:

Chuck discussed concerns of water loss within the town at March meeting – no updates at this time.

Discussion on town ordinances continued. Board Members and April will continue researching.

Discussion on Sales Tax continued. Motion made to adopt 1% municipal general sales and use tax and 1% municipal gross receipts tax effective July 2022 – passed by unanimous vote.

No other old business.

New Business:

Discussion regarding obtaining a City Attorney. April will research for next meeting.

Liquor license renewal – motion made to keep fees the same by Nicole, 2nd by Travis.

Motion made regarding unpaid city water and sewer bills – all bills over 90 days will be subject to 10% penalty by Nicole, 2nd by Travis. Penalty will take effect January 2022.

Rodney completed maintenance on the generator – the battery and battery maintainer were replaced. Some maintenance needed to pump house. April will reserach someone to complete the work.

Suggestion made for a payment box to be placed in town. Board will consider the options.

No other new business.

Bills: Otter Tail: TBD; Grant County Review: $21.30; Nathan (pest control): $620; SDML Workers Comp: $511; Chuck: $92.35; April: $323.22 - Motion to pay bills by Nicole, with 2nd by Travis.

Motion to adjourn by Nicole, with 2nd by Rodney.
