Town of Marvin Council Proceedings

August 15 , 2022

Meeting called to order at 6:30 P.M.

Board Members Present: Rodney, Travis and Nicole.

Others Present: Stacy, Tom

Minutes of July meeting read with no additions or corrections. Motion to accept July minutes by Rodney, second by Nicole.

Old Business:

Discussion regarding obtaining a City Attorney; research to on-going. Some maintenance needed to pump house, someone planning to complete the work.

Fire damaged buildings on Main Street: Crawford building cleaned up. A new letter will be sent to Thadens. Discussion on pump check for water system – no updates at this time.

No other old business.

New Business:

Board was approached regarding mowing of town and cemetery. Board will consider alternate options and bids for the 2023 season before moving forward.

No other new business.

**Monthly water flush will be completed on the 1st of each month through the summer months.**

Bills: Otter Tail: TBD; Kelly’s Kutters (June mowing): $479.25; Grant County Review: $19.31; Chuck: $92.35; April: $323.22; SD Dept of Health: $15.00 - Motion to pay bills by Rodney, second by Travis.

Motion to adjourn by Nicole, with second by Travis.
