Area businesses finished up their Valentine’s Day sales and festivities last week, but there was one more piece of business for the 36 firms that participated in the annual Treat Your Sweetheart Valentine’s gift basket giveaway – the announcement of this year’s winner.
From among the thousands of entries, the name of Teresa Hyatt of Milbank was drawn to win the massive gift basket brimming over with gift items and certificates totalling more than $700 in value. Hyatt, whose name had been entered by her daughter, Holly Determan, was happy to receive the basket that was overflowing with prizes.
The Grant County Review coordinated the annual drawing, and the staff is thankful for all the business sponsors who participate and donate prizes to the basket.
