Summit School District 54-6 Board Proceedings

 

March 18, 2020
Members present: Lisa Amdahl, Mark Miller, Carrie Rauen, Joe Johnston and Ferdy Zirbel via telephone. Also present: Mike Schmidt.
At 5:04 p.m. Chairman Zirbel called the meeting to order. No Conflict of Interest was recognized.
20106 Motion by Rauen Second by Miller to approve agenda as written. All voted aye. Motion carried.
Public Communications: None.
20107 Motion by Amdahl Second by Johnston to enter into Executive Session for the purpose of personnel discussion (SDCL 1-25-2:1) at 5:06. Rauen excused herself from the executive session. Chairman Zirbel declares them out of executive session at 5:18 p.m.
Budgetary Discussion was held on salary and benefits for the Summit School Business Manager Position.  Discussion was also held on compensation of hourly staff during the shutdown.   
20108 Motion by Miller Second by Amdahl to adjourn the March 18, 2020 special board meeting at 5:37 p.m.
The next regular school board meeting is scheduled for Monday, April 6, with Negotiations at 5:00 followed by the regular school board meeting. The meeting will be held in the Summit School Library.

THE MILBANK YOUTH WRESTLERS gathered for the end-of-the-year awards banquet on Sunday, April 21.  Individuals recognized were, back row, left to right, Elliot Boswell, Paxton Anderson, Sawyer Adler, Liam Prasnicki, William Wyant, Brayden Twedt, Blaze Fahleen, Weston Trapp, Colton Sis and Cruz Prasnicki. Middle, Logan Schneck, Treyton Wellnitz, Paysen Anderson, Jade Skaarer, Lucille Wyant, Reed Trapp, Audrey Schmeichel and Lincoln Kiley.
