Summit High School Homecoming 2020
Students at Summit High School voted for Emily Breske as homecoming queen and Adam Purdy as homecoming king during the coronation ceremony on Monday, September 28. Emery Christoferson was named Little Miss Summit, and Benjamin Pearson was honored to be Little Mr. Summit. The senior class members are, left to right, Angel Rockbridge, Courtney Lewandowski, Emma Bartunek, Mary-Anne Bauer, Emily Breske, Adam Purdy, Skyelar Strang, Skylar Jaspers, Carson Schmidt, Brian Pies and Hudson Steinocker.
With a theme of “Decades,” the homecoming activities continue this week with the battle of the classes and large group games on Thursday, October 1. The community will have float decorating in the morning on Friday, October 2, with the parade at 1 p.m. Upcoming athletic events include cross country at Sisseton, plus junior high and varsity volleyball against Langford in Waubay on Thursday, and junior high and varsity football against Britton/Hecla in Waubay on Friday.
