Summer Celebration Planned in Corona
A full afternoon and evening of activities is planned in Corona on Saturday, June 24, to commemorate the town’s 140th anniversary and celebrate St. Patrick’s Day belatedly.
The 25th annual St. Patrick’s Day parade will begin at 4 p.m., with music starting at 3 p.m. Grand marshalls David and Sarah Hamman will lead the parade.
After the parade, there will be kids’ games and bean bags.
A benefit supper for Cindy Settje will start at 5:30 p.m. and conclude at 8 p.m.
The St. Patrick’s Day parade was originally set for March, but was rescheduled because of the prohibitively large amount of snow.
