State Park Passes Available Check Out at Library
The Grant County Public Library has State Park Passes available for check out to all library cardholders.
The library staff participates in the Check Out South Dakota State Parks program. Through this partnership with the South Dakota State Library and the Department of Game, Fish, and Parks, patrons can check out a free state park vehicle pass from participating libraries for up to three days. This pass grants access to any South Dakota state park, recreation area, or nature area, encouraging families to explore the natural beauty of the state.
Patrons can check out a pass with their library card, which is free to residents of Grant County and available with a small fee to non-residents. The program is designed to promote outdoor activities and provide new opportunities for community members to enjoy South Dakota’s parks. Passes are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis, with a loan period of three days and no renewals.
