Scouting for Food Donations Tents set up at Lewis, Berens

The annual Scouting for Food drive will have a different look this year in Milbank. The members of the local Scouting BSA troops will have Scouting for Food tents set up inside Lewis Family Drug and Berens Market to receive nonperishable donations. This is a change from depositing bags at city residences and then picking up the donations.
The new drop-off locations for Scouting for Food will begin receiving the donations on Saturday, October 22, and conclude on Friday, October 28. The scout members will deliver all the donated items to the Grant County Food Pantry on Saturday, October 29. Nonperishable food items include canned and boxed items that do not require refrigeration. Perishable food items are not accepted.
In addition to donations of various nonperishable food items, families in need rely upon the food pantry for items such as soap, shampoo, feminine products, toothpaste, toothbrushes, paper products, detergents, cleaning products and more.
