Residents May Route Sump Pump Hoses to Sewer
In response to the recent cold weather, Dick Poppen, City of Milbank wastewater superintendent, announced that residents are now allowed to discharge their sump pumps into the sanitary sewer system.
The pumps can continue to empty into the sanitary system until the spring announcement to remove them, Poppen noted.
