Registration Open at Library for English Language Class
Area residents who would like to learn English as a second language or who would like to improve their English skills are invited to register for the spring session of the Grant County Public Library’s English Language Learners classes.
The next set of classes start on Tuesday, March 14, and continue for 12 weeks. Attendees should select one class per week that best fits their needs.
Those wishing to learn very basic beginner English can choose between classes on Tuesday evenings from 6 to 7 p.m. or Wednesdays from 2 to 3 p.m. The level one classes will be taught by Ann Tuchscherer.
Participants who already have some very basic English may want to move into one of the level two classes. They can choose between classes on Tuesdays from 2 to 3 p.m. or on Wednesdays from 6 to 7 p.m. The level two classes will be taught by Colleen Natalie.
The classes are coordinated by the library staff and will take place in the library community room. Classes are sponsored through a partnership including United Hardware and Valley Queen Cheese Factory.
To register for the classes, call the library at 605-432-6543, email gclibrary21@hotmail.com or visit the library during normal operating hours.
