Public Invited to Learn Butterflies at Big Stone City
The staff of the Big Stone City Branch of the Grant County Public Library will host a public gathering on Wednesday, July 22, at 2 p.m. Tammie DeWald will give a presentation about butterflies. All ages are welcome to attend the free event.
DeWald will tell those present how to start their own butterfly garden, including needed supplies and fun facts about butterflies. She will discuss the life stages of the cocoon and butterflies. There will be a limited supply of free butterfly packets available for participants.
The branch library is located on the south side of the Big Stone City Community Center, at 400 Washington Street in Big Stone City.
