NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

BY THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT ON A VARIANCE

 

 

 

 

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Grant County Board of Adjustment on Monday, August 8, 2022, at 4 p.m. in the Grant County Courthouse Community Room (basement) to consider in full or in part the following variance request by Tim Waldner representing Blue Sky Hutterian Bretheran on the following legally described property: SW ¼ Ex Lot 1 of Roggenbucks Addn Section 19-119-47 (Vernon East Township) Grant County, South Dakota:

• Variance Application, VAR07012022, A front yard setback variance pursuant to Section 1101.04.2 requiring a minimum 100-foot front yard setback. The applicant is requesting to construct a 35’ x 40’ generator building approximately 16 feet from the 158th Street right-of-way.

Written comments may be filed by emailing the County Zoning Officer at steve.berkner@grantcountysd.us  or by mailing them to the Zoning Officer at 210 East 5th Avenue, Milbank, SD 57252 on or before noon on August 5, 2022. No materials will be placed on the website after 5 p.m. on August 5, 2022.
