ANNUAL TOWNSHIP WEED NOTICE
    Notice is hereby given to the owners and occupants of the following townships that you are required under SDCL 31–31–5 to cut, remove or destroy all grass, weeds, trees or brush along the roads adjoining your property between September 1 and October 1 or between the dates annually fixed by the township board. If the grass, weeds, trees or brush are not cut by the specified date, the landowner will be assessed the cost.

    Kilborn    November 1    Cost of hiring
    Lura    October 1     $100 per 1/2 mile – one side
    Madison    October 15     $200 per mile – one side
    Melrose    October 15     $100 per 1/2 mile – one side
            or cost of hiring –
            whichever is higher
    Osceola    October 10     $100 per hour
    Stockholm    October 15     $50 per 1/2 mile – one side
    Troy    October 1      $100 per 1/2 mile – one side
    Twin Brooks    October 1    $100 per mile – one side
    Vernon    October 1     $125 up to a 1/2 mile – one side
