Chamber Board
In preparation for the annual meeting of the Milbank Area Chamber of Commerce, nominations are now being accepted for two open seats on the chamber’s executive board.
Anyone who wishes to nominate a candidate to serve a three-year term on the board can pick up a nomination form at the chamber office or download it at www.milbanksd.com/chamber.
Current board members Travis Lester of First Bank and Trust and Dawn VanderWal of Dakota Country Ag Services have each completed two consecutive terms. Neither is eligible to be elected this year.
The annual meeting will be Wednesday, September 18, with a social at 5:30 p.m. at the Speedway Bar and Grill in Milbank. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m.
