Rescue Drawing Winners Named
The members of the Milbank Fire Department have concluded the annual fundraising drawing. The top five winners received cash prizes accompanied by a fire extinguisher. Winners are, Roger Angerhofer, $300; Wayne Appl, $250; Donna Garske, $200; Harvey Schafer, $150, and Twin Valley Tire, $100. Additional winners that received fire extinguishers include John Conroy, Marlin and Shirley Schmidt, Darwin Prisinger, Linda Berens and Clee Brakke.
The fire department utilizes funds generated to purchase additional equipment to help them fight fires efficiently and with increased safety. David Giesen, fire chief expressed appreciation for the community members’ support of the department.
