Milbank FFA Teams Advance to State Convention
Milbank FFA members competed for top placings at the District 1 Leadership Development Event on Monday, November 11, in Doland.
In Parliamentary Procedure, members took first, advancing to the state competition on Thursday to Saturday, April 3-5, in Brookings. Team members are Veronica Fonder, Ashlynn Lamp, Megan Wiese, Cody Wiik, Sam Shelstad and Kalli Grong.
In the event of Chapter Conduct of Meeting, members took second, advancing to state. Members include Kyra Tostenson, Bridget Regil, Avery Lamp, Payton Lamp, Alyna Gloe, Addison Locke and Ryder Peterson.
Bailey Schwagel took first in Prepared Public Speaking, advancing to state.
Megan Wiese took second in Employability Skills, advancing to state with Kayla Schweer as alternate. Wiese was also elected as District 1 reporter.
