Milbank’s Council to Conduct Public Water Meetings
Beginning the the morning of Thursday, September 10, the Milbank City Council will conduct special meetings every other Thursday at 7 a.m. The purpose of the meetings is to discuss the water issues, options, concepts, and processes forward to find and implement solutions.
“The sole purpose of these meetings is water,” said Steve Pendergrass, city administrator. “No action will be taken during the meetings.”
Pendergrass added that the public is welcome to attend and may contribute to the duscussions. “However, we want to stress this is a solution-based meeting, and testimony may be limited if it isn’t moving the conversation forward,” he said.
