MHS Class of 1954

    THE MILBANK HIGH SCHOOL CLASS of 1954 gathered for a 65th class reunion Tuesday, September 10, at the Lantern Inn in Milbank. The 14 classmates attending were, back row, left to right, Max Gonzenbach, Eugene Patnoe, Jim Boekelheide and Jack Stengel. Third row, Wally Runge, Evelyn (Thompson) Hilbrands, Carol Knock and Marge (Killian) Johns. Second row, Dorothy (Schwandt) Kauers, Arlene (Wellnitz) Lindberg, Betty (Folk) Mead, Joan (Van Veen) Johnson and Lavonne (Anderson) Mayer. Front row, Janet (Davis) Grorud. Classmates met again at the Alfred Cafe Wednesday morning and then enjoyed a tour and demonstration at the Old Mill presented by Tim Stengel, followed by a visit to the Valley Queen Heritage Center.
