Matthew “Matt” McDaniel, 30, of Granbury, TX, died on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at his home. He was the son of former Milbank resident, Marsha (DeClercq) McDaniel.
Funeral services will be Saturday, December 11, at 10:30 a.m. at the Wiley Funeral Home, 400 E US Highway 377, Granbury. Visitation will be Saturday, December 11, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
A public celebration of Matt’s life will be staged on Sunday, December 12, at 2 p.m. at the American Legion Post #491, 3409 Davis Road, Granbury, TX. Graveside services and burial will be Monday, December 13, at 1 p.m. at the Duncan Municipal Cemetery, Duncan, OK.
Matthew Aaron was born February 13, 1991, in Fort Worth, TX, to Mark and Marsha (DeClercq) McDaniel.
Matt loved the outdoors and loved to ride his bike, hunt and fish. He was affiliated with the American Legion Post #491 in Granbury, and was chaplain for the Sons of the American Legion #491. He was also a big supporter of and volunteered with the Booze Fighters M.C.
Matt is survived by his parents; brothers, Michael, Marc (Haylee Grubbs) and Brandon McDaniel (Chastine Edwards); niece, Allison McDaniel, and several aunts and uncles.
Matt was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gerald and Marjorie DeClercq and Bill and Betty McDaniel.
