Local Youth Cast in Missoula Production of Johnny Appleseed

More than 60 local students in grades kindergarten through 12 will have roles in the musical production Johnny Appleseed, a Missoula Children’s Theatre production. The show will be presented Friday, November 22, at 1:15 and 7 p.m. in the Milbank High School theatre.
Cast in the lead roles of Younger Johnny was Estelle Schweer and Older Johnny, Paige Korstjens.
The characters also include Molly, played by Jasmine Tietjen; Sarah, Veronica Fonder; Rebecca, Avery Schuneman; Kelly, Keaton Johnson; 
Wolf, Ian Liebe; Bison, Nycole Korstjens; Sir Peter Prescott, Preston Laskowske and Rupert, Cooper Hupke.
The production will include a group called Grandma’s Kiddoe, which includes Bennett Graham, Maren Pearson, Isabella Flores, Bree Townsend, Raina Untalan, Macy Mueller, Hayden Montag and Violet Johnson. 
The Critters will be portrayed by Lane Johnson, Parker Grabow, Zayda Townsend, Jenna Korstjens, Timothy Wynne, Susie Schuneman and Parker Cordingley. 
Depicting the Pionners will be Andrew Karels, Cali Weber, Finley Hunt, Adison Pauli, Bridget Lemus, Riley Anderson, Callie Myrum, Marley Pinkert, Timbree Spors and Sydnee Weyh. 
Lewis will be played by Harper Wendland, while Clark will be played by Haley Pearce.  
The Drum and Fife corpe will be represented by Jayden Korstjens, Willow Bender, Max Scoular, Bennett Hunt, Kyra Tostenson and Rylan Wendland. 
The Appleseeds are Aubree Madsen, Tabitha McFaden, Tatum Brehmer, Franklin Barthel, TyLynn Wellnitz, Elise Graham, Mason Gertsema , Haydyn Mitthun, Keira Untalan, Sophia Bass, Owen Schneck, Brielle Grabow, Riley Krause, Brady Ericsson, Alyssa Rethke and Lydiah Novy. 
Chosen to serve as the assistant directors were Rhylei Gengler, Kennedi Sayler, Bri Hicks and Ivy Dreis. 
The production is sponsored through a cooperative effort between the Milbank Kiwanis Club, Koch School PPE, St. Lawrence L.I.F.E. group and the Whetstone Arts Council. Tickets will be available at the door.
