Local School Supply Drive
Seeks Donations in July
First Interstate Bank and Milbank Parents Promoting Education (PPE) are partnering for a school supply drive that will run for the full month of July.
Organizers report that they are especially seeking backpacks, headphones, PE shoes, pencils, glue sticks, erasers, Crayola crayons, black EXPO dry erase markers, gallon- and quart- size storage bags, pocket folders, scissors, facial tissue boxes, Crayola washable markers, one-inch binders, composition notebooks and zipper-type keepers.
Items can be dropped off at Berens Market, the Grant County Public Library, the Grant County 4-H complex and First Interstate Bank in Milbank.
PPE is a parent-sponsored organization that supports Milbank Elementary School staff and students. The group provides funds and services for students during the school year. Its work helps to provide classroom supplies, playground equipment, lyceums and assemblies, student and staff recognition, field day and field trips.
