Local Churches Schedule Special Christmas Services
Many congregations across Grant County will have special worship services for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Various Christmas Eve services are scheduled for Saturday, December 24. In Milbank, Parkview United Methodist will meet at 2 p.m., Central Church will meet at 3:30, 5 and 6:30 p.m., American Lutheran will meet at 3 and 5 p.m., Emanuel Lutheran will meet at 4 and 6 p.m., Living Word Lutheran will meet at 5 p.m., St. Lawrence Catholic Church will have mass at 5 p.m. and midnight, Valley Baptist will meet at 5:30 p.m., and Peace Lutheran will meet at 6 p.m.
Countryside Covenant, rural Milbank, will meet at 5 p.m.
In Wilmot, Our Savior’s Lutheran will have its service and Sunday school program at 5 p.m. and St. Mary will have mass at 7:30 p.m.
In Big Stone City, Tabor United Methodist and First English Lutheran of Ortonville, MN will meet at Tabor at 10 a.m. and St. Charles Catholic Church will have mass at 5 p.m.
St. John’s Lutheran Church in Revillo will meet at 4:30 p.m.
In Strandburg, Tabor Lutheran will meet at 5 p.m.
Summit’s St. John’s Lutheran will have its Christmas program at 4 p.m.
Several churches will also have Christmas morning services on Sunday, December 25. In Milbank, Central Church will meet at 8:30 and 10 a.m., American Lutheran will meet at 9 a.m., Emanuel Lutheran will meet at 9 a.m., Peace Lutheran will meet at 9 a.m., St. Lawrence will have mass at 9:30 a.m., Living Word Lutheran will meet at 10 a.m., and Valley Baptist will meet at 10 a.m.
In rural Milbank, Countryside Covenant will meet at 10:30 a.m., Bethlehem Lutheran will meet at 9 a.m.
In Big Stone City, St. Charles Catholic Church will have mass at 8 a.m. and Parkview United Methodist of Milbank, First English Lutheran of Ortonville, MN, and Tabor United Methodist will meet at Tabor at 10 a.m.
Annunciation Catholic Church in Revillo will have mass at 10 a.m.
Corona’s Trinity Lutheran will meet at 9 a.m. and in Wilmot, Our Savior’s Lutheran will meet at 10:30 a.m.
St. John’s Lutheran in Summit will meet at 10:30 a.m.
Because Christmas falls on a weekend this year, regular Sunday morning worship times, scheduled activities and office hours may be different than in previous years. Please refer to the church directory in this issue of the Grant County Review for full details about each church’s holiday schedule.
