    The LaBolt Town Council met October 7, 2019, at the LaBolt Fire Hall.  Present were Larry Erp, Jon Wold, Barb Ellingson and John Wollenberg. John Graves and Brandon O’Neill were guests.  
    The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m.
    The minutes from the last meeting were read and approved. The treasurer’s report was given and approved.
    The following bills were approved for payment from the general fund:
    Northwestern Energy $10.00; Otter Tail Power $243.91 (Street Lights); Otter Tail Power $6.77 (LaBolt sign); Otter Tail Power $39.48 (Fire Hall); DJ Langenfeld $30.00; Grant County Review $13.35; Otter Tail Power $28.52 (Campsite); Grant County Weed Board $400.00; Kibble Equipment $9.44.
    Jon Wold reported that he has drained the ponds down to the level of 4 ft.
    John Wollenberg reported that the mat for #8 disc golf needs to be repaired. There are two wooden tables that also need to be repaired and the dock has been pulled out for the year.
    There was discussion about who to hire for mowing of the park next year.  D.J. Langenfeld is retiring from the job at the end of this year. He has done it for several years and has done an excellent job. We thank him for his good work.
    John and Brandon came to check on the progress of the water problem in the alley by their homes.  The work has been completed and we will revisit the problem next spring.
    There was discussion about selling the lots where the stone house stood.  We will need to check on having it appraised and how we go about putting the lot up for sale. This was tabled for another date.
    An executive decision was made to purchase some gravel from Larry Erp.  He had some extra and sold it to us for $40.
    Next meeting will be Monday, November 4, 2019 at 7 PM.
