Council Proceedings

 

The LaBolt Town Council met September 14, 2020 at the LaBolt Fire Hall.  Present were Justin Siderewicz, Jon Wold, Larry Erp, Barb Ellingson and John Wollenberg. Willy Pillatzki and Rick Tiesing were present.

The meeting was called to order at 8:00 p.m.

The minutes from the last meeting were read and approved. The treasurer’s report was given and approved. 

The following bills were approved for payment from the general fund:

Northwestern Energy $10.00; Otter Tail Power $236.05 (Street Lights); Otter Tail Power $6.39 (LaBolt sign); Otter Tail Power $41.63 (Fire Hall); Grant County Review $17.49; Brookings Rural Water $25.00 Otter Tail Power (LaBolt campsite) $98.55; Carrico Law Office $20.24; Lorenzen Sales $679.25; Postmaster $55.00.

Lagoon Report – Jon stated the lagoon will be inspected sometime in September.

John Wollenberg – Park is looking good. 

Barb – Reservations are getting a lot slower now.

Jon made a motion to accept Rick Tiesing’s bid for the 2 ½ lots that were up for bid. Larry seconded and motion passed.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.

Next meeting will be Monday, October 5, 2020 at 8 PM.
