Council Proceedings

 

The LaBolt Town Council met May 4, 2020 at the LaBolt Fire Hall. Present were Justin Siderewicz, Jon Wold, Larry Erp, Barb Ellingson and John Wollenberg. Danny Berglund was present as a guest.

The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m.

The minutes from the last meeting were read and approved. The treasurer’s report was given and approved. 

The following bills were approved for payment from the general fund:

Northwestern Energy $107.90; Otter Tail Power $234.04 (Street Lights); Otter Tail Power $66.78 (LaBolt sign); Otter Tail Power $120.39 (Fire Hall); Grant County Review $29.89; Brookings Rural Water $25.00; Gary Ellingson $40.00; Justin Siderewicz $87.89; Grant County Auditor $19.20; Ronglien & Sons $550.90.

The following bill was approved for payment from the sewer fund:

Elite Drain & Sewer $202.50.

Jon Wold – All is well at the ponds.

John Wollenberg – Park is looking good

Barb –The LaBolt Park is now open but will be open for camping for Memorial Day weekend. The playground equipment and swings are open also

The Grant County mitigation plan was discussed. Jon made a motion to accept the plan with no changes and Larry seconded. Motion passed.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.

Next meeting will be Monday, June 1, 2020, at 7 PM.
