LaBolt Town  Council Proceedings • May 2, 2022

 

 

 

 

 
 
The LaBolt Town Council met Monday, May 2, 2022 at the LaBolt Hall.  Present were Jon Wold, Larry Erp, John Wollenberg and Barb Ellingson. Danny and Sharon  Berglund were guests.
The meeting was called to order at 7 p.m.
The following bills were approved for payment from the general fund:  Brookings Deuel $28.00; Grant Co Review $20.20; Northwestern Energy $22.10; Barb Ellingson $859.89; Jon Wold $148.68; Otter Tail Power $23.75; SD Assoc. of Towns & Township $166.50.
There was discussion on the ditch project for the Piker’s. Jon discussed on how it will be handled.
The request for wine and beer at the Mini Mall was tabled to June meeting
There was discussion about vacating Railroad St. and the bin project.   Sharon Berglund voiced her objections. This discussion was tabled to a later date
It was decided that we need three loads of gravel. Larry will talk to Charlie to deliver.  
We are in need of two or three “NO TRUCKS” signs. Larry will take care of getting these.
The motion was made by Larry and seconded by Jon to accept all reports, motion passed. 
Jon adjourned the meeting.
Next meeting will be Monday, June 6, 2022 at 8 p.m. PLEASE NOTE THE CHANGE OF TIME
