Council Proceedings

    The LaBolt Town Council met July 1, 2019, at the LaBolt Fire Hall. Present were Justin Siderewicz, Larry Erp, Barb Ellingson and John Wollenberg.  
    The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m.
    The minutes from the last meeting were read and approved. The treasurer’s report was given and approved.
    The following bills were approved for payment from the general fund:
    Northwestern Energy $10.00; Otter Tail Power $242.78 (Street Lights); Otter Tail Power $7.09 (LaBolt sign); Otter Tail Power $29.48 (Fire Hall); Brookings Deuel $25.00; DJ Langenfeld $60.00; DJ Langenfeld $40.00; Insurance Solutions $1,762.00; Insurance Solutions $3,228.00; Ronglien & Sons $18,531.60; SDML $50.00.
    There was discussion on the two bridges at the park that need repair. Discussion tabled to a later date.
    All is going well at the park. The work on the road has been completed and looks good.
    The town will be having the sewers pumped either later this summer or the fall.
    The town and park are being sprayed for mosquitoes regularly.
    Next meeting will be September 3, 2019, at 7 p.m.
