Kids Can Enter Review’s Holiday Coloring Contest

 

 

 

 

 

Area youth artists are encouraged to enter the Grant County Review’s Christmas Coloring Contest. The contest is free and three youth will be awarded prize baskets with gifts from Mill Theatres, Lewis Family Drug, Whetstone Home Center and the Review.
 
Just look inside this issue for the official coloring contest entry, do your finest coloring and get your submission to the Review by Friday, December 12, for your chance to win one of the prizes. For families that need extra entries, just stop by the office to pick up additional coloring pages.
 
In addition, the Review will make a contribution to the Grant County Combined Appeal for each entry received.
 
The contest winners will be pictured in the December 17 issue of the Review.

LIKE SENTINALS, parking meters once lined Milbank’s Main Street. Installed in the 1950s to ease parking conjestion in the downtown area, the meters genterated revenue for the city and encouraged shoppers to limit the amount of time spent parked in one place. After the city added public parking lots near Main Street the town’s leadership gradually reduced reliance on the meters, and then, in 1980 voted to remove them.
