Organizers with Grant County Combined Appeal are now taking applications for the 2023-24 combined appeal funding cycle. Applications can be obtained by contacting Craig Wellnitz, finance director of the Milbank High School Educational Foundation.
“After coming off a great campaign with the gracious, caring community, the 2022-23 campaign was able to allocate out $166,700 to 17 agencies that applied for grants last year,” Wellnitz said. “We are looking forward to another successful 2023-24 campaign.”
Applications have been mailed to the 2022 recipients as well as any groups that requested them.  Completed applications with all supporting materials are due back by Friday, June 16. Representatives of all organizations applying for funds will be called between June 19 and 23 to set up interviews on Tuesday, July 18, and Thursday, July 20. The interviews will help facilitate a closer relationship between the combined appeal committee and the recipients.
Community non-profit agencies are encouraged to apply for a grant from combined appeal by calling the Milbank High School Educational Foundation at 432-9000 or by emailing milbankcf @itcmilbank.com for an application packet. The Milbank High School Educational Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to improving the quality of life in Grant County.
