Grant, Roberts County Residents Advised: Burn Ban in Effect
Grant and Roberts county residents are reminded that there is a ban on open burning in the counties until further notice. The burn bans were enacted on Tuesday, October 1, in response to exeedingly dry conditions.
“We continue to be under the burn ban restrictions,” commented Kevin Schuelke, Grant County emergency management director. “We ask that residents refrain from burning until conditions improve. We will reevaluate the situation weekly.”
